Welcome to Yankalilla Community Children’s Centre

Yankalilla Community Children’s Centre is an integrated early childhood education site offering preschool and long day care for up to 65 children.

Located approximately 75 kilometres south of Adelaide, between the rural township of Yankalilla and the coastal community of Normanville, our centre supports families from a large, diverse and growing district. This includes Inman Valley, Delamere, Torrens Vale, Hay Flat, Parawa, Second Valley, Rapid Bay, Cape Jervis, Wattle Flat, Myponga, Carrickalinga and Wirrina Cove.

We value strong partnerships with families and actively encourage parents and community members to contribute to the planning and delivery of our care and educational programs.

Our Governing Council and Management Committee bring together parent, community and staff representatives. Working collaboratively, they help guide the centre’s future direction, monitor progress and promote positive outcomes for children and families. The Management Committee also oversees the childcare service as a community-based business operation.
